What I’m Thankful For…

You know how at Thanksgiving dinner, you go around the table and everyone says what they are thankful for? Well, at least that is something that my family has always done and I figured it’d be nice to post what I’m thankful for.

I haven’t really posted about my mom too much lately but she has been going through a lot of stuff health wise and it’s been hard. I have had to miss work and take care of her. She’s been to the ER and seen a ton of specialists. I’m not going to go too much into detail about it but basically she was retaining a lot of water and it made her have really bad shortness of breath. Thankfull the doctors have been able to give her some medicine and I’m happy to say she is doing much better! I’m thankful for my mom and that her health is on the up and up.

I’m also thankful for all my friends but my best friend in particular. She got married April of this year and I couldn’t be more happy for her. She has found a man that treats her well and I’m thankful for that. I miss seeing my friends from down south (and all around!) but I am thankful for each and every one of them.

I’m also thankful for my dad and my dog Annie. My dad and I have definitely had our ups and downs but things have gotten better over time and I can’t imagine my life without him. Annie came into our lives when we needed her most (after putting our previous dog to sleep). She has brought us so much joy.

There are so many other things I’m thankful for like having a job that I love and having a roof over my head. The holidays are my favorite time of the year because people just seem nicer and happier. I think we should always be like that, but if it takes the holidays to bring it out then I’ll embrace that. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
